Call centre salary in Egypt: what our 2,320 adverts state, by language
Employers' own adverts state up to EGP 300,000 a year for many English roles, and monthly figures from EGP 15,600 up to EGP 25,000 net. French is stated at EGP 33,000 net, Portuguese at EGP 48,000 net and Dutch at EGP 63,000 net. No German advert we hold states pay.

These are figures from employers' own adverts in our catalogue on 1 November 2026, and only those. They aren't typical salaries. Only 58 of our 2,320 adverts state any pay, and 55 of the 58 come from one employer, Sutherland. So read this as what one big employer is offering today. Where an advert says up to or net, we've kept that wording, because it changes what you'd get.

Employers' own figures, counted by us. Sums assume the whole amount is steady monthly gross pay, under the 2026 rules. An up to figure isn't a promise, and the yearly adverts don't say gross or net.
What does up to EGP 300,000 a year mean each month?
At most EGP 25,000 a month. If that's gross, you'd take home up to about EGP 19,584.77 after EGP 3,565.73 salary tax, EGP 1,837 social insurance and EGP 12.50 for the Martyrs fund. But up to is the top of a range, and those adverts don't say what the bottom is. So ask two things: what's the fixed monthly figure, and is it gross or net?
The monthly adverts give a better clue. Three say 15.6k up to 22K, four say 20.8K net and one says 17,000 net. A technical support advert says up to EGP 20,800 including 15% KPIs, so part of the top figure depends on your targets. Some adverts say KPIs are guaranteed for the first three months, so ask what you'd get from month four. Plan your rent on the fixed part.
How much more do language jobs pay?
In these adverts, by a lot, and the three figures below are net: EGP 33,000 for French, EGP 48,000 for Portuguese and EGP 63,000 for Dutch. To match them from a gross offer, you'd need about EGP 42,504.08 gross for the French figure, EGP 63,268.01 for the Portuguese and EGP 84,226.40 for the Dutch. Compare that with the English roles, whose top figures work out at EGP 24,167 to EGP 33,333 a month.
Language in the job title on 1 November 2026: French 35 adverts, German 27, Spanish 13, Italian 7, Dutch 4, Portuguese 3. No German, Spanish or Italian advert we hold states pay. So we give no figure for German call centre pay, though many people search for it. Anything you read elsewhere didn't come from these adverts. Ask at the interview.
What do these adverts ask for?
Often a graduate, with a strong level of English. Of Sutherland's 165 adverts, 91 name the C1 level and 53 mention graduates. About 40 also offer medical insurance of up to EGP 200,000 a year, and that figure is the cover limit. It isn't pay, and we've kept it out of the table.
Customer service makes up 176 adverts in our catalogue. Sutherland has 124 of them and Concentrix CVG has 10. The rest come from smaller groups of employers, and those adverts don't state pay.
Does any other job state pay?
Only three adverts outside these. A Glovo tMart order picker role in Nasr City states EGP 8,350 fixed, in two adverts, and one adds monthly incentives of up to EGP 1,250. Reliance Health states EGP 16,518.19 a month for an Associate, Claims Operations. For comparison, the private sector minimum wage is EGP 7,000 a month.
What should I ask before I accept?
Ask for the fixed pay, the KPI part and how often it's paid. Ask if your whole salary goes on your social insurance record. Ask about night shifts, since the law sets at least 70% extra for night overtime, and whether the firm's transport reaches your area. Ask for the offer in writing before you resign from anywhere. Applying is free, and nobody should ask you to pay for one of these jobs.
